Introduction

PreBlast: Don’t come it will be hard. Followed shortly by several “your mom” jokes from the men-children of F3. It was hard, and they did come.

Warm-O-Rama

Short Mosey up to the monument platform

The Thang

Started with 4 Count Jumping Jacks. to 100. Many did not think it would end, bc it didn’t. We followed up with 4 count JJ’s to 10 then down for 10 Merkins. repeat 10x.
Mosey down the steps to the south lawn for 200 Big boy situps. Split them up in sets of 25 and added in a 75 yard sprint between each. After all pax completed we mosey back up the steps and hit some plank ups on Q’s count to 40. Then threw it out to the pax for a Mary of 3 exos. Flutter kicks, muffin toppers and american hammers. Did 5 more rounds of the Jumping jacks into merkins. Bear crawled up the Museum entrance grass steps and sprinted 400 M to the end!

Circle of Trust

Praying for Snowden’s Friend who has cancer. If you read this take a moment for that.
Hammer’s lunch today at 11:30. Check slack for details.
Work on guys who haven’t done their VQ’s yet. Split the workout with them, have them do the warmo-rama etc. Get them involved.

Naked Man Moleskin

I got caught up several times today and had to be reminded of the pax that we were only going to 10 on the JJ’s. It’s such a different perspective when you are on the one in charge of the workout. Watching the guys and wanting them to give their very best and get right and sometimes completely forgetting the script. Most any of us would agree that taking the Q is really so rewarding because we get the chance to step back from just participating and feel like we are serving these guys and not worried about ourselves at all. We all have a responsibility to step up and lead… Whether you are a consistent Q, or someone who is terrified to do it. It’s what keeps guys coming back. Hop in the saddle, ask a fellow HIM for help and hammer down. You may surprise yourself.
