GrowRuck 19 MIDWEST Pre-Blast

Buckle up HIM’s, GrowRuck 19 is coming to Kansas City on August 14th-16th, 2020!!
The cost to participate in the GrowRuck Tough Challenge is $150 for local pax and $125 for the Clowncar Special. This includes GrowSchool, the Ruck Challenge, a T-Shirt, and sweet patches. Please HC (hard-commit) by registering and making a deposit via the F3 GrowRuck website for $75 to You will use this link for your remaining balance, as well. The remaining balance of $75 will be due August 1^st, 2020. Registrations made after July 6th will be at the full price. Registrations after July 6, 2020 may not be able to get a T-Shirt because of processing time.

What about COVID19?

COVID19 has tried to victimize everyone. We believe based on other events going on in KC (running and rucking events) that we will have GrowRuck Midwest in a safe, responsible, and legal way. All indications are that August should be safe. The GrowRuck Team is monitoring Kansas City Sporting Events schedules, the GORUCK schedule, and state regulations to make the best decisions possible. Something else to consider, we need this more than ever. If there was ever a time when men needed to be men, to clown car, to shed some blood, sweat, and tears, now is the time.

Consider the COVID19 may have created the perfect time for us to rally together as men, to demonstrate unity, to fight sad clownism. There is nothing this covid, economically depressed, divided country and region needs more than men who are fully alive, ready to take on the challenges that come our way. I can think of no better way to get prepared than GrowRuck. We need you brothers. We’ll keep you safe, don’t be a victim of isolation, come get stronger with us.

The F3 Nation GrowRuck
What, you ask, is GrowRuck?
It’s simple: GrowSchool + Rucking challenge. In one weekend, you’ll get, 1stF + CSAUP + 2ndF + F3 Leadership Development & Training.
We rolled out GrowSchool in November 2016 as an offering for F3’s “Nomads” — workout locations that are on their way to becoming Regions and can use a little support and encouragement along the way.
After teaching through a couple of GrowSchools, we started to realize how important CSAUP events are to building 2ndF and the overall momentum toward a region. And no CSAUP event that we’ve ever seen has the same catalytic effect on 2ndF and F3 growth as F3 guys getting together to do a Rucking challenge.
So, we thought, why not combine the two?
GrowRuck will be led by a F3 Growruck Cadre and will be in all ways challenge, but the GrowRuck Cadre will tailor activities and the teaching to reinforce the GrowSchool curriculum and lessons. The F3 GrowRuck Team, like Dredd, Dark Helmet, and Slaughter will participate in the challenge alongside the rest of the pax.
Over the last several years, almost 600 men complete the GrowRuck in Jacksonville, Eastern North Carolina, New Orleans, Seattle, Chattanooga, Texas, Columbia, Toledo, Memphis, Richmond, Naperville, Atlanta, and Pinehurst.

T-Shirts
A GrowRuck T-Shirt will be included with your registration as long as we have at least 60 participants.

The most frequent question asked when an F3 group begins to look into doing the Challenge is “do I need to buy a $300 backpack”. The short answer is no. A GORUCK ruck is not required, but GORUCK Rucks last — FYI: the Rucker model ($165) goes on sale from time-to-time & the F3 Ruck Club will have discounts that may work for the Rucker, depending on the month. Contact Kilo @F3NationRuck at the end of the Pre-Blast. The 511 Rush 12 is a $99 version that some guys use. The 511 Rush 24 is slightly larger and slightly more expensive. Also, many guys pick up second-hand rucks at Army surplus stores, eBay, or Craigslist.
Another option is to email [email protected] with the subject line of Lend a Ruck, and someone from the F3Nation will answer the call (kinda like the Bat Signal) and ship you his ruck to use for a small fee. Each region that would like to rent a Lend-a-Ruck needs to identify a Q to communicate with the GrowRuck team.
Besides a ruck, you’ll need some bricks or a plate for weight, a headlamp, reflective PT belt, and a hydration bladder.

How do I sign up for this?

To sign up for this option, do the following…

1. Register for GrowRuck through the F3Nation Site. This covers the cost of the GrowRuck event, shirt, cadre, etc…. ($150 for KC, $125 for Clown Car Special)
2. SEPARATELY send $75 to Blistex (Bill Green) via Venmo with your hospital and F3 name. Venmo handle @BillGr33n. This covers your all inclusive GrowRuck Midwest package.

FAQ:
Q: I am local or have local accomodations. Do I have to sign up for all inclusive?
A: No, if you would like to commute in, the cost will be $45 which will include meals, meeting space, etc.

Q: I already ordered a Ruck Plate!! Why didn’t you tell me earlier?
A: This was a late add. Lend your ruck plate to another PAX and tell him to join you at Growruck. Pay it forward.
